Vanguard Renewables uses an “everybody wins” approach as it builds, owns and operates anaerobic digesters on dairy farms to process food waste and manure according to a recent article by Nora Goldstein in BioCycle Magazine. With its recently opened fifth farm digester in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Vanguard has capacity to manage 490 tons/day of food waste and 120 tons/day of dairy manure.
